Art Of Title - The warriors opening title sequence

What is included?

In the beginning of the sequence the production company(Paramount Pictures) and the director are the first to show up on screen on a dark background. The title of the film is then shown on the centre of the screen. All the titles are a bright red colour, this maybe to symbolise violence and death in the film. The main characters names are also included. The main characters are then slowly introduced. While the main characters are being introduced the music producer is shown and the editor, the executive producer is also included.

What Fonts/colours used and why?  Genre Specific?

all the titles are in a bright red, this is too symbolise the violence and deaths in the film so it gives the audience of the genre which is action/thriller. The font is a rounded shape similar to bubbles or drops, this may represent the droplets of blood.

How do you know they relate to the films content and style?

The font and colour relate to the films content as in the film there is non stop violence and the font and colour seems to represent blood which is violence.
