Analysis of Sound - Pitch Perfect
It immediately beings with non diagetic sound, he background music starts from he off, is very loud, quirky and upbeat sound, this tells us the the genre isn't gloomy or sad and that's its very cheerful so maybe a comedy. This music gives off a happy atmosphere and is the type of music to be played when dancing so this means that the film is possibly very musical.
The music is sound bridged throughout the scene and at the very end the music begins to fade and completely stops when we see the character take off her headphones.
Evaluation of Sound Analysis
After analysing the sound of the sequences i can see that its okay to use all different varieties of sound in the same sequence as long as it makes sense. I have also learnt that using parallel sound can draw the audience n and can create a better atmosphere. In the sequences there are completely different at the beginning but they draw you in very easily because of the sound, one is very upbeat and draws you in because it makes you feel cheerful another is very eerie and has piercing music which intrigues the audience and another has intervals of sound which grabs the audiences attention. I have learned that all he sequences had music invloved so this is an important factor that we must include in our film.
Analysis of Sound - Adulthood
It begins with silence and a slide show of pictures, the fact that there's no sound will draw the audience in.
As were watching the scene we see a punch being thrown, the impact of the punch is assisted by diagetic sound, as we hear the ruffling of the clothes and the sound of the feet being dragged along the floor this suggests that the film is violent and the genre is crime. This is also parallel sound as the music relates to the scenes that we are seeing at the the time.
Diagetic sound is again used when we hear the sound of cars passing and at the same time the scene ends which tells the audience that time has also past.
Non diagetic sound then is faded in, the background music begins loud and gets louder, the music sounds very young and something that would be played at a teenagers party this tells the audience that this is a film revolved around teenagers, this is also parallel sound , as the music is playing we see images of a party scene the song being played is in an urban genre and in the scene we see things that would be seen as stereotypical for urban listeners and young people such as smoking this tells us that the audience the film is trying to draw in are young teenagers.
The music continues to play in the background but starts to quieten down as we start to hear the footsteps of the people dancing and characters begin to talk.
The music eventually goes and we focus on the characters but there is still music in the background from the party in the scene so all the sound we can hear is dagetic.
At the end of the scene we hear police sirens that may have been added in to show again show the genre of the film and show the characters personalties.
Analysis of Sound - Lord Of The Rings
At the beginning of the clip we hear non- diagetic sound which is the voice-over, this immediately gets the audiences attention as they hear someone talking straight away rather than seeing any credits. The voice-over is played throughout the scene as the women is explaining how the story of the rings began so this turns out to be very important for the audience as it provided them with new information.
Background music which is again non diagetic, the music is very slow and creates an eerie atmosphere. The music is also very mysterious which endures the audience into the film. The music is sound bridged throughout the scene but at some points goes very low/quiet as the scene itself overlaps it. Sounds of a flame are also added into the film to bring the audience in.
Around 40 seconds into the scene the voice-overs tone begins to change into a more serious and deeper/loud tone. We begin to hear many types of diagetic sound at the fighting scenes, we hear the screaming of random people this creates a feel of innocence of these people and makes the audience feel sympathetic. We hear growls and roars of what we would associate with nasty characters and something which are inhuman this means that the film is somewhat of a fantasy, we also hear slashing of swords, shooting of arrows and commands being shouted this build up the audiences adrenaline as we know there is violence approaching, it also means that the film is going to be very violent
Parralell sound is also used as the deep, loud music matches to the violent scenes.

Genre
Our groups genre is Crime/Action. This genre usually gives the audience an adrenaline rush and is always entertained. There should be tension in the film or characters doing illegal things for example stealing.
Codes and Conventions
- Use of a villain
- A good character/hero
- Villain taking part in illegal actions e.g stealing
- Good character trying to stop them and usually succeeding
- A safe or bank where valuables would be kept
- Handcuffs
- Guns
- Police Officers
- For villains they would have dark clothing
- Good characters would have lighter clothing or cop-like
- Long shots to establish the location and to see what the characters are doing
- Close ups to see characters facial expression or to see in more detail
e.g if villain is trying to break in a house there would be a long shot to show where they are and a close up to see them picking a lock
In our film the villains use masks to cover up their identity i think this is a good use of following the codes and conventions as in other crime/action films e.g the dark knight they also use masks for the villains e.g the joker.
Audiences expect to see illegal actions being carried out and good characters trying to stop them. They also may expect to see a victim that needs to be saved, this is something that hasn't been included in our film idea.
How do filmmakers meet these expectations?
Filmmakers will reach theses expectations by first researching into their genre and making sure they have followed most of the codes and conventions.

Institution
A company i would lie to distribute my film would be Sony Pictures
.jpg)
This is because Sony has several media outlets such as cameras, TV, mobile phones , games and much more. Sony is also a global company that serves worldwide, it has made successful franchises such as Spider man , Men in Black and Resident Evil. By producing a range of media outlets it provides plenty of cross media convergence and synergy for example producing a game of PS3 or Xbox for our film. This will help promote the film and bring in a wider range of audiences and therefore earn more of a profit.
There are other companies that could distribute our film such as:

What Fonts/Colours used and why? Are they Genre Specific?
The font of the titles are 3D and very sketch like as if someone had drawn the font, this may be to show the audience that its a film for the younger generation. There are a variety of bright colours that have filled in the letters in the titles, the bright colours show the audience that the film isn't serious. The fonts and colours are very specfic to the genre because they are bright and attract young audiences.
